I didn’t realise how expensive a USB flash drive was. I use them all the time at work and I am now on my third one as I keep losing them or they go walkabouts. But they are essential where I work in order to get different documents and pictures to different computers without emailing as they sometimes lose their quality if you do that. Without wanting to sound like a cold hearted miser, I really feel this controversial issue needs to be raised somewhat, even if it's only to voice my own misgivings. If every penny from the millions of pounds raised in Britain alone had gone directly to the problem of say, aid work in Africa, then the problems there surely would have shown some signs of improvement by now, right?
