Roy Wood has
predominately remained in Wigan producing champions for Aspull Olympic
Wrestling Club Roy
has also taught abroad in Japan and has in fact coached in Japan and took
a team of his wrestlers. During his 11 visits he has coached for
one of the biggest companies in the world namely New Japan.

| He
has also taught for SWS (the main type of wrestling Roy Wood taught
in Japan is Lancashire Wrestling (this is what old Riley Wrestling
was) also known as Catch as Catch Can. This style of wrestling is
very similar to submission fighting which is becoming more and more
popular in both the U.S.A and England. Roy has had many invitations
from all over the World just recently from Switzerland to attend with
Shamrock (Shamrock is also known World-wide). |

Not
only Roy does the travelling for Aspull Olympic Wrestling Club we have
had many of our Teams travel to represent our club for example
